Scorp is DEAD pass it on

Vinny slept for a long while, perhaps a few days, his only movement a bit of tossing and turning. When e finally woke his eyes snapped open and he sprang up, calling Scorpion's name, disoriented. He took in his surroundings and soon enough everything came back to him. He exhaled softly and layed back down on his back, staring at the ceiling and feeling over the soft blankets Gate had layered over him.

Vinny calmed down once Khaba arrived, rubbing the side of his face and sitting up again. He nodded. "Yes..How are your brothers" He knew they were fine, but couldn't help but worry. "Has anything arrived from the palace"

Vinny stood up with his son's help, still feeling a bit weak. He tried to keep his eyes in front of them as they headed downstairs, not very interested in going down painful memory lane again. He greeted everyone, kissing Horus and Tabu's heads before sitting down. "Good morning."

The sight of the food he know Gate caught special for him made a small smile creep across his face, how could it not? He sat down in front of it and lifted his fork, swallowing the eggs first to save the fish for last, wanting it to be the taste that lingers in his mouth. "Have the three of you eaten already" Tabu nodded. "I finished mine quiet a while ago."

Tabu's eyes went wide and his throat nearly closed up, his heart beat picking up a significant amount and blood rushing to his cheeks. Horus picked up on this easily of course, and just had to comment. "Tabu why are you bl-" His sentence was cut off by Tabu's hand. "Shut up" He half whispered to his brother before lowering his hand. He was still very embarrassed about past ordeals with Eros, and even a bit ashamed for how he's acted in the past, he kept his eyes down mostly. Vinny dropped his silverware and sprang up to rush towards Eros, hugging him tight around his torso. "Why havn't you come to visit in so long" He hid his face again, squeezing him tight.

Vinny watched him head upstairs, fins drooping, more than a little sad that he left so soon. He tried not to let it bother him too much, for Khaba's sake, and returned to his plate to eat his rainbow fish. Tabu however wasn't going to be able to easily brush of Eros' cold shoulder. He swallowed a lump in his throat and got up abruptly, ignoring his brothers when they ask where he's going. Tabu went outside to sulk in the swamp, resting at the bottom of Gate's pond until he had his thoughts together, for the most part at least. Should I apologize? I should, but he already hates me. But I could still try, but what if he doesn't even open the door? He might need his space, but maybe this will help him? He gripped his hair and groaned, curling up and blinking back stinging tears. He sighed after a bit longer and got out of the pond, shifting quickly and drying himself off. He sneaked past his family, successfully for once, perhaps because he actually had an important goal he HAD to see through. He walked quietly and nervously up the stairs, listening for the room that Eros was in, taking a breath before knocking lightly on his door, feeling almost light headed from his nerves.

Tabu felt frozen under Eros' gaze, clearly nervous. It almost looked like he was about to dart away at any moment or shiver in to dust. "I um...I j-just wanted to apologize, for h-how I acted, towards you. I'm really sorry." He practiced this line over and over again countless times to himself, having never truly apologized to anyone before, he needed to make sure it was right. Eros could tell by the tone of his voice and the look on his face that he was being sincere, even as far as to pin his fins back a bit to show his submissiveness.

Tabu entered his room hesitantly, still feeling a bit unwelcome even after being invited in. His soft eyes darted around Eros' body, glancing at all of his wounds, particularly the ones on his neck. It made him a bit sick to see them, the thought of Eros in danger making him go a bit scatterbrained with worry. "Eros, what happened to your neck," He gestured to his own, shyly looking up to his face. "And what about all of those other cuts.." He was honestly hoping that he just ran in to some angry animal, and wasn't being reckless again.

Tabu's fins drooped at the sight of his friend, if Eros even still considered him that he couldn't say. He stepped forward slowly, pulling a chair to sit in front of him, but at the same time giving him space. "I can bring father up here, he can heal the small cuts you have, and maybe make the bigger ones feel a little better." He tried to smile.

He swallowed, nervous beyond belief just by being in the situation and not knowing how he should help. It was never really a problem dealing with Eros when he was like this in the past, his, some would say overpowering, personality was arguably perfect for it, but he clearly wasn't himself as of late. A bit of pigment was gone from his skin, hair a bit duller, overall he was just lacking in the vibrancy he used to boast and be so proud of. Tabu placed a concerned hand over Eros', hoping it would help relax him, rather than do the opposite. It in no way felt like the usual seductive hand he would often place on Eros, but instead just a concerned gesture from a friend.

Tabu turned pale for a second, thinking this was some sort of crazy dream. Eros...was crying...Crying?? Some things just never happen, then again, he never thought his father would come to pass the way he did in a million years. He wrapped his arms around Eros tightly, mindful of his wounds, spreading his fingers over the skin of his back securely. He didn't need to ask him what was wrong, he knew the answer. It was the same thing that was wrong with everyone. He knew Eros and his father had been close, and could see what it was doing to him now. He wished he could do more, if anything, but simply lowered his chin a bit to lean his head on Eros', trying not to cry again.

If it had been a month or two prior Tabu would have been internally screaming, but now he was just thankful for the comfort. It was still a bit difficult for him to look him directly into his eyes, partially from embarrassment but also because it was hard for him to see Eros so broken. "Yes, Eros"
