Tabu smiled softly and curled up next to him, returning his grip, figuring he'd take a nap too, he hadn't slept very well the previous night. "My pleasure."

Vinny kicked the ground every so often to keep himself swinging, getting restless after a short while of being outside. He sighed and grumbled into his arms, feeling trapped in this place but knowing he couldn't leave. He got up to go back inside. "I'll be in the library." Maybe a bit of reading would help relax him, practicing new spells usually kept him distracted for hours.

Vinny layed down in the middle of the library on his back, different books floating this way and that, switching in and out when ever he got bored. He finished the first handful in no time, so he climbed on to higher shelves to get more. One book in particular caught his eye, it looked dark, old dusty, like something you probably shouldn't mess with. So of course he had to. He opened it and scanned the index, freezing when his eyes ran over one particular chapter.

Vinny read through the chapter over and over again countless times. He started to feel numb, the requirements for this resurrection making him sick, but he pressed on. Mesmerizing every word, sentence, number and ingredient until they were engraved in his mind. He didn't want to tell anyone, but it would be far too difficult to do alone..

Vinny read over the letter fully, nodding and handing it back to Vince, feeling a little more at ease now. "Thank you for coming." He stepped forward to hug his friend lightly, just for a second. "I'm sorry I yelled at you.." He had been wanting to apologize for some time, knowing Vince in no way deserved to be yelled at.

Vinny nodded to his son and thanked Sirahlivai, running his fingers through his hair a little, much more at ease with all of this good news. He pulled Vince along to the kitchen, pulling out fish for him and Sirah to eat, but of course Gate insisted on cooking it, Vinny simply rolled his eyes and sat back, chomping down whatever stray bits that happened to fly his way.

Vinny looked to Vince, curious about why he wasn't as enthusiastic about the food as Sirah. "Why arn't you eating? When was the last time you did"

Of course after Vinny blinked, all of the tea that was in Vince's cup was suddenly gone. He grumbled a little, wishing Vince would let him in on whatever he's hiding under his mask already. Gate refilled his teacup and Vinny stood. "Vince will you join me outside please"

"Don't mind him he's just a stupid naga thing that won't leave." Vinny sat down on the swing again with Vince and pulled his knees up. "...Why don't you talk to me" He's wanted to ask this since the day he met him, but never felt he should.

It was hard to look at, not because it was unappealing to the eye but because he didn't like imaging his friend in that much pain. He started to feel guilty again. "I'm sorry..." Vinny looked up into his eyes this time. "Has anyone tried to heal it before?"

Vinny placed his feet in the water as well, an inch around his ankles freezing over a bit out of habit. "Sorry." He thawed it immediately. "....I could try to, if you let me."

Vinny felt that now familiar empty pit return to his stomach. He watched the small fish circle around Vince absentmindedly and his eyes watered against his will. He leaned his forehead on Vince's shoulder.

Vinny smiled, genuinely feeling better and happy that Vince was here with him. He leaned up to peck his forehead then turned his attention back to the water. "Do you know sign language"

He got a little disappointed, hoping at some point his past lessons would have sunken in by now. "Can you write??" He hoped he'd at least be able to communicate that way, he wanted to hear or see his friend's words so badly.
