Kendrick? Beat Eros??? How? That can't be true there's no way. Tabu sneered a little, the thought of that sounding ridiculous. "There's no way. And what do you mean not tideborn? What are they? Is that gardener one of these?" He had to place his hands on Khaba's shoulders to steady him, otherwise he'd continue bouncing and lose focus even more.

"Oh....Interesting..." Tabu looked around again for the gardener, looking away quickly when he caught sight of him across the courtyard. "So he's like, older than Gate?"

"Oh, guess that makes sense..." Tabu found himself a bit jealous of this place, it was unclear whether he found it more interesting than the palace because the palace was what he's known his whole life or because this place was really that spectacular. "Kind of odd that a prince that loves prisoners so much didn't want to keep a slave for his sport."

Tabu blocked Khaba's rambling out for the most part and nuzzled up to Horus, purring softly and holding around his shoulder. "I'm fine. Don't worry about me." He meant this of course, the last thing he wanted to do was contribute any stress to poor Horus and make him sick again. It was never fun seeing his brother in that kind of condition.
"And yes, it is. It's a nice break from all of those walls...."

Tabu made sure Horus was situated between the both of them, sending away whatever foods the servants brought over that he knew Horus didn't like. "What do you want to drink Horus?"
He wanted a nice glass of wine himself, but he didn't really need to ask for it, it was already being poured for him.

Tabu tilted his head a little and drank more of his wine, wondering if they met before or something. He leaned over around Horus to talk to Khaba. "Hey do we know that human from somewhere? He keeps winking at us...."

Tabu squinted and tilted his head. "You sure? I don't remember him looking like that, he was all goofy when we were kids." Not that he STILL didn't look plenty goofy but..

Tabu chuckled as well, wishing they could somehow save Shigeo before he died from boredom. He leaned over to whisper to Khaba and Horus. "Do you think there's a way we can cut this meeting short, it's not exactly interesting dinner conversation anyway."

Tabu did as well, elegantly lifting bites of fish up into his mouth. He was very proper, given he was in the right setting to be so. Every so often he stole a few glances at Shigeo, ignoring whatever it is the representatives were saying. "Where did Emir go anyway?"

Tabu chuckled and took another bite. "Alright thank you Shigeo." He nodded it at him and picked up his wine. "I wonder how long he will be."

Tabu already downed more than his fair share of alcohol as well, though he knew what he was doing he just didn't really care. Before long he was leaning against Horus with his arm around his neck, nuzzling his cheek and telling him how much he loved hive. He was always the type to get clingy when he was drunk.

Tabu laughed at his brother and squeezed Horus into a hug that he probably wasn't gonna get out of any time soon. "Khaba stop shouting you doof!" He leaned over even more to playfully push Khaba's shoulder, nearly knocking him out of his chair.
